Episode: “Prophecy Fulfilled”
At a first-century synagogue at Magdala, likely visited by Yeshua Himself, Myles and Katharine remind us that Scripture is reliable. Interview: Pastor Juan Maria Solana, Director of Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center (Catholic) and founder of the Magdala Center.
Series: “Close Encounters with Yeshua”
This ten-program series focuses on how Jesus/Yeshua supernaturally came and ministered on Earth, and today calls all mortals to draw near to Him. David and Kirsten Hart introduce each episode from the studio, while Myles and Katharine Weiss teach in Israel, using dramatic re-enactments and interviews with Believers about their journeys to faith in Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah.

Caption transcript for Close Encounters with Yeshua: “Prophecy Fulfilled” (5/10)

  • 00:01 Hi, I'm David Hart.
  • 00:02 And I'm Kirsten Hart.
  • 00:03 As with this whole series
  • 00:05 we have another great drama today.
  • 00:07 Myles is on location teaching
  • 00:09 in ancient Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene.
  • 00:11 It's going to be a great show.
  • 00:22 It was not long ago our first encounter
  • 00:24 on the waters of the Galilee.
  • 00:26 My hand is completely restored.
  • 00:28 He said, Your faith has saved you.
  • 00:32 I've heard Yeshua speak in our synagogue.
  • 00:34 He talked about the Kingdom of God.
  • 00:38 Then He showed us His wounds in His hands and His feet.
  • 00:41 I believe He really is a King.
  • 00:57 Shalom Havarim.
  • 00:58 Welcome to our program
  • 00:59 I'm Myles Weiss.
  • 01:00 And I'm Katharine Weiss
  • 01:01 We want to welcome you to our series
  • 01:03 "Close Encounters with Yeshua"
  • 01:06 This is very exciting,
  • 01:07 especially this particular program.
  • 01:09 We had a chance to go to Migdal - "Magdala, however you say that,
  • 01:12 where Mary Madalene came from.
  • 01:15 And there is an incredible find there
  • 01:17 of an entire 1st century synagogue.
  • 01:20 Not only so, but it was found by
  • 01:22 a Catholic Priest, of all people.
  • 01:23 It was an amazing back story of how God led him there.
  • 01:26 He was just a precious man wasn't he?
  • 01:28 I love how it was his mother who in a dream
  • 01:31 ...it was a dream or a vision, I don't remember.
  • 01:34 But she heard the word, "Miriam".
  • 01:37 And she knew she was supposed to take note of that;
  • 01:40 not "Mary" but "Miriam"
  • 01:42 because God was setting up for this Catholic family
  • 01:45 that there was a beginning.
  • 01:46 Besides what had happened through the Catholic Church
  • 01:50 there's been a beginning to the story of the Gospel
  • 01:53 and it's the beginning of Jesus as Yeshua,
  • 01:56 a Jewish man with a Jewish identity.
  • 01:59 In this 1st century synagogue it is totally restored.
  • 02:02 You see the Temple life.
  • 02:04 You see the bringing in of the Menorah,
  • 02:06 the 4 corners of the Tablet,
  • 02:08 even the Mosaics.
  • 02:10 It's fascinating!
  • 02:11 It is, and so we want to take you there now.
  • 02:13 We have a drama that speaks about
  • 02:15 the miracles that took place there
  • 02:16 and the local reactions to it.
  • 02:18 So we're going to pick up where a
  • 02:20 friend of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue,
  • 02:22 is considering the healings of Jesus.
  • 02:24 Let's go there now.
  • 02:31 He had to come.
  • 02:33 Jarius is a good friend.
  • 02:36 He's the leader of the synagogue here in Capernaum.
  • 02:40 And I'd been told that his daughter was ill and about to die.
  • 02:44 So... I came as quickly as I could.
  • 02:51 We were in the synagogue where
  • 02:53 an immense crowd had gathered.
  • 02:56 All because of the Rabbi...
  • 02:59 ...Yeshua.
  • 03:04 It seems wherever he goes there is a crowd seeking a miracle.
  • 03:13 On this occasion he healed a woman who
  • 03:16 simply touched the fringes of his shawl.
  • 03:21 He said...
  • 03:23 [Speaking Hebrew]
  • 03:27 "Your faith has saved you."
  • 03:32 Remarkable!
  • 03:36 But what happened next simply can't be explained.
  • 03:47 And that very same moment we received
  • 03:50 a message that the daughter of Jairus
  • 03:52 ...had died.
  • 03:54 We immediately rushed to their home where
  • 03:56 mourners had already gathered.
  • 03:58 It was heartbreaking.
  • 04:04 Yeshua joined us and he said something
  • 04:07 about her not really being dead,
  • 04:11 that she was just sleeping.
  • 04:16 He took her by the hand and he said,
  • 04:19 [Speaking Hebrew]
  • 04:22 Arise.
  • 04:28 And she stood up immediately!
  • 04:35 Jairus of course was astounded,
  • 04:40 but I'm not sure I was.
  • 04:46 There is a pattern here.
  • 04:52 I am believing all the more in Yeshua.
  • 04:57 I believe... he just may be
  • 05:00 the Holy Anointed One
  • 05:03 of which our fathers prophesied.
  • 05:18 Just as the character in our drama was a
  • 05:21 witness of the miracles of Yeshua
  • 05:23 and was beginning to believe that in fact He is the Messiah,
  • 05:26 I'm standing in a living miracle.
  • 05:29 The stones are crying out from this very place
  • 05:32 about the reality of Yeshua.
  • 05:34 We're on the road, the Via Maris that
  • 05:36 comes from Nazareth and goes to Capernaum.
  • 05:38 And it's in this area that Yeshua did so many of His miracles.
  • 05:42 It's where He really began to do His ministry
  • 05:46 before the road to Jerusalem.
  • 05:48 This particular place
  • 05:50 is one of the most unique finds of the last centuries.
  • 05:54 It may be the most unique find ever
  • 05:57 because it is in fact a perfectly intact
  • 06:00 Jewish synagogue from the 1st century.
  • 06:02 Without doubt, this is a place very similar to
  • 06:05 or perhaps the place where Yeshua was preaching.
  • 06:08 It's likely that in His travels throughout
  • 06:11 what's been called the "Gospel Triangle"
  • 06:14 between Chorazin,
  • 06:15 Bethsaida
  • 06:16 and Capernaum,
  • 06:17 the "Jesus Triangle".
  • 06:18 It's 12 square miles.
  • 06:20 But in this area it's likely that He would
  • 06:22 come here on a Sabbath, on a "Shabbat" and
  • 06:26 share/teach from the Word of God
  • 06:27 right here.
  • 06:29 The Word of God is our standard
  • 06:31 of faith and practice.
  • 06:32 It is only book in the world that is
  • 06:35 a predictive, prophetic book.
  • 06:38 God says it,
  • 06:39 He does it,
  • 06:40 and our choice is to believe it or not.
  • 06:42 And we believe it.
  • 06:43 It was in a place like this that
  • 06:44 He came just from the wilderness
  • 06:47 where He had used the Word Itself
  • 06:48 against the accusation of the Devil.
  • 06:51 3 times Satan tempted Him
  • 06:52 and 3 times He said, "It is written"
  • 06:55 And He came to synagogues like this one
  • 06:57 and most likely to this very one,
  • 06:59 to preach from the Word of God.
  • 07:02 Now, in the Jewish synagogue of the 1st Century
  • 07:04 the order of service was very much set.
  • 07:07 We read about that in Acts 13:15
  • 07:09 where Paul says,
  • 07:16 And that teaches us that there is an order of service
  • 07:19 and an order of priority
  • 07:21 regarding God's Word.
  • 07:22 The Torah first,
  • 07:24 because Numbers 12:8 tells us that it is
  • 07:26 the highest order of word
  • 07:28 because Moses got it face to face from God,
  • 07:31 received it face to face.
  • 07:33 Then come the Prophets,
  • 07:34 who receive their visions and dreams
  • 07:37 and wrote down, transcribed
  • 07:39 that which God had spoken to them
  • 07:41 in a secondary fashion after the Torah.
  • 07:43 And then finally,
  • 07:45 the commentary that would come.
  • 07:47 So Yeshua, being a visiting Rabbi,
  • 07:49 by passing through here,
  • 07:51 the Torah would be read,
  • 07:53 the Prophets would be read,
  • 07:54 and then He would sit in the so-called "Moses Chair"
  • 07:57 where He would then do the Midrash,
  • 07:59 do the teaching and the commentary
  • 08:01 that He would make about what was just read.
  • 08:03 It just so happened the Haftarah portion
  • 08:06 of the day that He had arrived in Nazareth, His home town,
  • 08:10 which we read about Luke 4:18,
  • 08:12 was Isaiah 61.
  • 08:14 [Speaking Hebrew]
  • 08:20 [In English]
  • 08:24 And He goes on to talk about the beauty,
  • 08:26 the release, the incredible salvation
  • 08:29 that would be coming through His finished work
  • 08:30 which will come in Jerusalem.
  • 08:32 He's going to tell the hearers
  • 08:35 that this day when He is speaking
  • 08:37 from Isaiah 61 in the course of the readings of the Word
  • 08:41 He says to them...
  • 08:47 This Word is alive.
  • 08:49 It's sharper than any 2 edged sword
  • 08:51 and it pierces to the dividing asunder
  • 08:53 of soul and spirit, joint from marrow,
  • 08:56 and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
  • 08:59 This Word is reliable.
  • 09:01 This place testifies to the veracity of the Bible.
  • 09:17 Our resource this week...

  • 09:51 Hi, my name is Belinda Moon
  • 09:53 and I'm a 2nd generation contributor to Zola Levitt Ministries.
  • 09:57 My parents supported the ministry and
  • 09:59 I found it when Myles and Katharine came on board.
  • 10:03 Through their teaching I have learned a lot
  • 10:05 about the Bible and why it's important
  • 10:07 for me to stand with Israel.
  • 10:09 Please join me in supporting this ministry.
  • 10:23 We're coming to you from a 1st Century synagogue
  • 10:26 in the town of Magdala.
  • 10:28 It's very likely that this is the synagogue
  • 10:30 where Jarius was the ruler, perhaps the Rabbi of the synagogue.
  • 10:35 It was on the way to heal Jarius' daughter,
  • 10:39 to raise her from the dead,
  • 10:41 that the woman with the issue of blood
  • 10:44 accosted Jesus from behind
  • 10:46 "to reach out for His "tzitzit" (zeetzeet), the tallit
  • 10:49 the "corners", the "fringes" of His prayer shawl
  • 10:52 in order to be healed.
  • 10:54 There's a theme here.
  • 10:57 The daughter, 12 years old...
  • 11:00 the woman had been ill for 12 years.
  • 11:03 "12 is the number of "authority" throughout the Bible.
  • 11:06 We see 12 Tribes,
  • 11:07 Twelve Apostles.
  • 11:09 In the Upper Room 10 times 12, 120 believers when the Church is born.
  • 11:15 It's a theme here about the authority of Yeshua,
  • 11:18 about the One and Only
  • 11:20 Whose very fringes
  • 11:21 very garment
  • 11:24 could heal a woman who had been sick.
  • 11:26 She had spent all of her resources on doctors.
  • 11:29 She had given away everything she had.
  • 11:32 And her only hope
  • 11:34 was in the faith that she had in Messiah.
  • 11:37 And He, in walking, felt virtue go out of Himself.
  • 11:42 He recognized that she had by faith
  • 11:45 touched something of who He is.
  • 11:47 Well, this synagogue is a work of faith.
  • 11:50 This synagogue has been uncovered
  • 11:53 just in the last few years.
  • 11:55 And I had and amazing time with
  • 11:59 the Catholic Priest who is in charge of this project.
  • 12:02 He's a man of God.
  • 12:03 And he unfolded for us the story of this place
  • 12:07 and the incredible reality that this Word is true
  • 12:12 Isaiah 55:11 says,
  • 12:21 And that's what we see here.
  • 12:23 We see this synagogue testifying to the reality of Yeshua,
  • 12:27 to the Jewish identity of Yeshua,
  • 12:29 to the eyewitness of the first community
  • 12:31 of believers that were Jewish in this town.
  • 12:36 And how God is now at this point as we're
  • 12:40 looking for the return of Messiah
  • 12:42 we see Him unearthing this 1st Century reality.
  • 12:46 Now think about this woman who reached out to touch Yeshua.
  • 12:50 She was going for the "kanaphim" the "wings" so called, of the garment.
  • 12:55 Why?
  • 12:58 Because Malachi 3:20 says
  • 13:06 And the very covering that He walked in was enough to cover her,
  • 13:11 to cover her sin,
  • 13:12 to cover the lack of wholeness
  • 13:15 and to bring her into wholeness to heal her.
  • 13:18 Right here in this very synagogue
  • 13:20 there is a Mosaic
  • 13:22 that speaks of the wings of the garment.
  • 13:26 It speaks of the "tzitzit" (zeetzeet), the "fringes".
  • 13:29 This is a living testimony.
  • 13:31 I have seen here the stones crying out.
  • 13:34 And I've seen here the Word being alive.
  • 13:38 I think about the Gospel and His Word
  • 13:40 even the Hebrew "aleph bet", the Hebrew "alphabet",
  • 13:43 it speaks the Gospel.
  • 13:45 Think about this.
  • 13:46 "Aleph" the first letter of the alphabet,
  • 13:48 first letter in Abba-Father.
  • 13:51 "Beit" the second letter of the alphabet,
  • 13:54 first letter in the name "Ben" - "Son".
  • 13:58 The third letter of the Hebrew alphabet
  • 14:00 is "Gimel",
  • 14:02 a pictograph of a camel
  • 14:03 someone who goes and brings provision from afar.
  • 14:06 Did not Jesus say, it is expedient that I go away,
  • 14:10 for I will send the Holy Spirit and He will bring you comfort.
  • 14:14 Aleph, Bet, Gimal
  • 14:16 Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
  • 14:18 "Dalet" is a picture of a door.
  • 14:21 Father, Son, Holy Spirit
  • 14:22 knocking at the door of man's heart
  • 14:25 ready to come in.
  • 14:26 And what's the fifth Letter?
  • 14:27 "5", the number of "Grace".
  • 14:29 The fifth letter is "Hey"
  • 14:32 It speaks of the breath of God.
  • 14:34 Father, Son, Holy Spirit
  • 14:36 coming through the door of the heart
  • 14:38 and breathing life into all who say "yes".
  • 14:42 And today we're hoping that you'll say "yes" to Yeshua.
  • 14:55 We think about the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years
  • 14:58 "touching the hem of His garment"
  • 15:00 it says in the English version.
  • 15:01 But it really was the Prayer Shawl,
  • 15:03 the "Talit" including the part that has the fringes on it.
  • 15:07 She touched those fringes.
  • 15:08 Now, many of these talit have 8 fringes with 5 knots each.
  • 15:12 Think about this...
  • 15:13 "8", the number of "New Beginnings"
  • 15:15 "5", the number of "Grace.
  • 15:16 This woman reached out in faith
  • 15:18 and this new thing happened for her.
  • 15:21 She had suffered and now her contact with Yeshua in faith
  • 15:24 changed her life through a physical healing.
  • 15:27 Isaiah 10:27 tells us that
  • 15:29 the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage.
  • 15:32 This mantle is a change from the mantle of bondage to the mantle of the Lord.
  • 15:37 Yeshua said Himself that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
  • 15:42 And the Hebrew speaks about the neck
  • 15:44 being made bigger, larger
  • 15:46 because that breaks off the anointing of the enemy.
  • 15:50 So we see this healing taking place.
  • 15:52 It's a thrill for us.
  • 15:53 And we're going to talk with Father Juan, the Catholic Priest
  • 15:56 who was part of the group that found
  • 15:58 this entire 1st century synagogue.
  • 16:01 Let's go to that interview now.
  • 16:07 The first thing I saw was this.
  • 16:09 This all was right here.
  • 16:11 And I saw these and I said to myself,
  • 16:14 this is important.
  • 16:15 I don't know what this is going to be
  • 16:17 but this is something important.
  • 16:19 Tell our viewers what we're looking at here
  • 16:22 and what this stone means.
  • 16:24 Look, at that time we really didn't know about the whole meaning.
  • 16:29 We saw only these.
  • 16:30 The surface here.
  • 16:32 Just the surface.
  • 16:33 This all was right here.
  • 16:36 In fact it was hid by a machine.
  • 16:38 But at that time we didn't know
  • 16:41 what was the meaning or the use of this stone.
  • 16:46 Anyway, the rosette was very beautiful, very big.
  • 16:51 I saw this kind of hearts which are not hearts.
  • 16:55 You said, these are not hearts.
  • 16:56 What do you mean?
  • 16:58 These are not hearts according to the scholars.
  • 17:02 In ancient times they never left
  • 17:04 empty spaces in any kind of sculpture.
  • 17:08 So they filled them out with these which are ivy leaves.
  • 17:13 "Ivy" leaves we say.
  • 17:15 Ivy leaves because they are always green.
  • 17:20 And in antiquity these green leaves were a sign of life...
  • 17:24 Resurrection life.
  • 17:27 ...resurrection, eternity, fertility.
  • 17:30 You have here 4 pieces of bread.
  • 17:34 You have here 2 cups or chalices.
  • 17:39 And somebody pointed out the fact that
  • 17:42 at the corners there was something that seemed to be removed.
  • 17:47 Like columns or "horems".
  • 17:49 If you look at it all around, it's
  • 17:51 very much an architectural design.
  • 17:53 So no question that this is a meaningful building.
  • 17:58 You see in the face you have the menorah.
  • 18:02 And the menorah was at the Temple.
  • 18:05 You see a couple of "amphora" [amforay]
  • 18:08 And this amphora was for oil and water as it was in the Temple.
  • 18:13 You see in both sides of the first arch,
  • 18:17 which has been identified as an oil lamp.
  • 18:21 And there were 2 oil lamps on the sides of
  • 18:25 the Holy of Holies in the Temple.
  • 18:29 And on this side we find I think the most
  • 18:33 intriguing symbol symbol of the Temple
  • 18:36 because it's related to the first Temple.
  • 18:40 And I think it's the first time
  • 18:42 in Jewish history and human history
  • 18:45 that this is found.
  • 18:47 We have a couple of wheels.
  • 18:49 One seems to be inscribed on the outside
  • 18:52 and the other one from inside.
  • 18:54 And under the wheels you can see something
  • 18:56 like a flame - fire.
  • 18:59 So this has been interpreted as the
  • 19:02 chariot of fire that Ezekiel saw inside the Temple
  • 19:08 taking the Glory of God around the Temple.
  • 19:11 And this is the very first time in human history
  • 19:14 that we have found this.
  • 19:16 So this is a living representation of
  • 19:20 the fact of the Jewish identity of Jesus
  • 19:24 which is controversial among my people and
  • 19:27 now we know this level of discovery
  • 19:30 is verifying that part of the story but
  • 19:33 the reality of the 1st Century believers
  • 19:38 being a part of Jewish life and
  • 19:39 the part of the Jewish community.
  • 19:42 And it's all being verified right here.
  • 19:44 In fact, we describe Magdala as the
  • 19:48 crossroads of Jewish and Christian history
  • 19:52 because we know that Magdala was abandoned.
  • 19:57 disappeared very much in the year 66 or 67.
  • 20:01 And we have a lot of firsthand information
  • 20:04 because Flavius Josephus lived here for a while.
  • 20:08 So we have firsthand information.
  • 20:11 And the Romans came in those years 66 - 67.
  • 20:15 They killed most of the inhabitants.
  • 20:18 They sold the few survivors.
  • 20:22 And so from let's say
  • 20:26 from the year 30 or 33
  • 20:30 till the year 63 - 66 - 67
  • 20:33 we have the first generations
  • 20:36 of believers in Jesus the Messiah
  • 20:40 And they were living together.
  • 20:43 They were relatives.
  • 20:44 They worshipped together eventually.
  • 20:46 I'm pretty sure that someday they made on this stone maybe
  • 20:51 the breaking of the bread, or they read the Torah.
  • 20:56 And so they were sitting here.
  • 20:58 And I'm pretty sure that the accounts of the New Testament
  • 21:03 came out maybe from this hall.
  • 21:05 Because the first believers,
  • 21:07 the first followers of Jesus Christ,
  • 21:10 the eyewitnesses of Jesus' life
  • 21:12 they gather here and they were saying,
  • 21:15 "I was there you remember when the casting of the fish?"
  • 21:18 I was there when the blind was healed."
  • 21:21 And they were building the story,
  • 21:24 their memories,
  • 21:26 their experience
  • 21:27 and their beliefs.

  • 22:15 We're here in the Chapel at Magdala
  • 22:18 And this has been a day of providential
  • 22:21 meetings and really looking at the
  • 22:23 miracles of Yeshua back in the day of Magdala
  • 22:25 and also what He's doing today.
  • 22:27 Right, 1st Century.
  • 22:28 Yes, it's a 1st century event.
  • 22:30 And the very archaeological dig here is
  • 22:33 just crying out about the miracles of Yeshua.
  • 22:35 It's amazing to us that this the area
  • 22:38 where Jairus' daughter was raised from the dead.
  • 22:41 And the woman with the issue of blood was healed.
  • 22:43 And this painting is a picture of the woman
  • 22:47 reaching out to touch the "fringes"
  • 22:50 of His garment of the "tzitzit"
  • 22:52 and being healed by that.
  • 22:54 And we were shocked when we came in here
  • 22:56 because I've only had one open vision in my life,
  • 22:58 and it was when I was a new believer
  • 23:00 and I was praying laying face down in our home
  • 23:03 and I saw the sandals of Jesus.
  • 23:05 So when we walked in here we saw this painting
  • 23:08 and it was just a reminder of
  • 23:10 that personal touch and calling from early days of faith.
  • 23:14 And He's still alive today.
  • 23:16 He's still doing miracles the same.
  • 23:18 He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • 23:21 And just as Myles saw that vision
  • 23:23 God wants to give you a personal touch of who He is today.
  • 23:27 He's not only 1st century
  • 23:29 but He's a modern century God and
  • 23:32 He's restored not only the Jewish people to their Land
  • 23:36 But to their identity as Jesus being a Jew.
  • 23:39 But He's also brought women further than
  • 23:43 anyone else has ever brought them.
  • 23:46 Here it is Jairus.
  • 23:48 He healed Jairus' daughter.
  • 23:50 And then He healed the woman with the issue of blood.
  • 23:53 He not only felt that she was healed
  • 23:57 but He said to her daughter, your faith has made you whole.
  • 24:01 He was instituting the family of God.
  • 24:05 In John Chapter 2 He said,
  • 24:13 He was talking about His body.
  • 24:15 And He was talking to the people, the religious spirit
  • 24:17 that was surrounding Him.
  • 24:19 And He was saying, we use this Temple for a while
  • 24:22 but now there's a new Temple that's coming
  • 24:24 and it's the Body of the Messiah.
  • 24:26 And so this dig represents that
  • 24:29 because the 1st century believers... the Jewish believers,
  • 24:33 understood that the Torah was the focus
  • 24:37 and that the people are now the Temple.
  • 24:39 We are now the Temple together.
  • 24:41 It's really amazing being here today.
  • 24:43 I really understood that in a new way.
  • 24:46 I mean, I always thought about the third day,
  • 24:47 the Resurrection of Yeshua,
  • 24:48 we get that.
  • 24:50 But raise this body up...
  • 24:51 He raised His body.
  • 24:53 We are His body.
  • 24:55 He is the Head and we are the body.
  • 24:56 And this community, we really saw it last night and we
  • 24:59 visited friends for Shabbat.
  • 25:01 And the way they are doing life together
  • 25:03 is so 1st century in a 21st century manner
  • 25:06 the way they are caring for one another.
  • 25:08 And being together was so encouraging.
  • 25:10 And so when He says He raise His body up
  • 25:12 He really means us doesn't He?
  • 25:14 Yeah, He does.
  • 25:15 And just even the testimony that you are witnessing of
  • 25:19 of this wonderful Priest that we got
  • 25:21 the chance to hear his testimony.
  • 25:24 So here, Myles a Jewish believer
  • 25:26 and a Catholic believer testifying
  • 25:29 about Jesus' Jewish identity.
  • 25:31 And so excited about the miracles that are happening in Magdala.
  • 25:35 Yeah, it was very encouraging to
  • 25:37 meet this Catholic Priest
  • 25:38 and to see that he is a born again believer in the church
  • 25:42 but he is a born again believer with
  • 25:45 real fellowship and preaching the Gospel.
  • 25:47 It was so encouraging to spend time with him.
  • 25:50 Ahh!
  • 25:51 You know what, God told me today.
  • 25:53 He said, I often offend the mind to reveal the heart.
  • 25:57 So we can't put God in a box - ever,
  • 26:00 even in our own concepts
  • 26:01 because He is outside but He wants us to see Him as He truly is.
  • 26:06 He's a lover of our souls.
  • 26:08 WOW, that is very encouraging.
  • 26:10 I think we can take a note from Jairus' very name.
  • 26:15 It means "He enlightens.
  • 26:17 And we're standing in a place today in Magdala where we're
  • 26:21 seeing that the enlightening of our souls, our spirits
  • 26:25 comes from Yeshua Himself.
  • 26:39 It was fascinating to me today to watch
  • 26:42 Myles and Katharine teaching at this ancient synagogue.
  • 26:44 To think that Yeshua Himself taught right there.
  • 26:49 And the fascinating thing to me again
  • 26:52 is that it wasn't feet below.
  • 26:54 It was just a few inches to find
  • 26:57 this ancient synagogue in this town.
  • 26:59 I love that we were able to sing there just recently.
  • 27:02 Just a few weeks ago.
  • 27:03 It was so amazing.
  • 27:04 And we walked and remember
  • 27:06 that little bridge took us right over
  • 27:07 all these archaeological digs.
  • 27:08 I mean we just walked right over them - amazing.
  • 27:10 Our desire for you today is that you
  • 27:13 have a close encounter with Yeshua.
  • 27:15 We'd love to hear your story.
