- 00:08 male narrator: God could have chosen anywhere on earth,
- 00:11 but he chose Israel.
- 00:14 He could've revealed his redemption anywhere.
- 00:16 He chose Jerusalem.
- 00:19 The house of the Lord might have been any place on earth.
- 00:22 He chose Mount Moriah.
- 00:25 Past, present, and future, the mountain of the Lord has been
- 00:29 a beacon of hope and remains a strategic site for the next
- 00:33 temple of God.
- 00:36 Dateline Jerusalem: The Coming Temple."
- 00:43 David Hart: Thank you so much for joining us today.
- 00:45 I believe that part of today's theme, guys, is the future of
- 00:49 worship, yes?
- 00:50 Kirsten Hart: Finally, we get to the good stuff, right?
- 00:52 Joshua Colson: We get to the good stuff.
- 00:54 Kirsten: Yay.
- 00:55 Joshua: You know, Caleb and I are always talking' about
- 00:57 prophecy and the future, which means there's a lot of bad stuff
- 00:59 that happens, but we're finally at the end, the stuff that's
- 01:02 good, the millennial reign, when God comes in and goes, "Enough
- 01:05 is enough."
- 01:07 And this is always my favorite part of the story because that
- 01:09 end worship, that time of eternal communion with the
- 01:12 Father and everything that's gonna happen, that makes
- 01:15 everything else worth it.
- 01:16 So I'm done with all the abominating and desolating of
- 01:19 all the previous episodes.
- 01:20 I'm ready for this. Kirsten and Joshua: Good.
- 01:23 David: Dr. Seif is on location at the Mount of Olives.
- 01:24 Let's go there right now for his teaching.
- 01:28 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Flora and fauna motifs are amply
- 01:32 represented in Ancient Near Eastern literature, not only in
- 01:36 literature but in depictions, you know, mosaics, frescoes,
- 01:41 hieroglyphs, even.
- 01:44 The ancients were game to speak, too, forward about
- 01:48 garden motifs, all of which, by the way, pale, of course, in
- 01:51 comparison to Gan Eden, the Garden of Eden.
- 01:55 I mention this because you look in the Bible, and the Lord God
- 02:01 creates, and he places Adam and [speaking in Hebrew]
- 02:05 in paradise, in the garden.
- 02:08 You read in early Genesis chapter 2-- [speaking in Hebrew]
- 02:17 that God--he rested.
- 02:19 He worked, and he rested.
- 02:21 And there's something about a garden motif that kind of
- 02:26 reflects felicity, peace, a kind of rest.
- 02:30 Well, Bible readers know that rest was disturbed.
- 02:33 Bible readers are aware that, all of a sudden, there was
- 02:37 a voice, "Psst, hey, lady," and all of a sudden, there's
- 02:39 a problem.
- 02:41 In Hebrew it's called "chet."
- 02:44 "Chet."
- 02:46 It's a word for "sin."
- 02:48 It's not just a violation.
- 02:50 It's a "vitiation"; that is, there's something that is
- 02:53 inherently defiling associated with it-- "ruinous."
- 02:57 So that's the problem: You know, you read five minutes into the
- 03:00 Bible; you realize, "We got a big problem."
- 03:02 We got a big God, too, so we have a big answer, and this
- 03:06 series explored the answer, of course, a theme.
- 03:09 Though not always articulated explicitly, it's tacit; that is,
- 03:13 it's inferred throughout.
- 03:15 It's the concept of atonement, that is, forgiveness, and it
- 03:19 begs the question, "How does God effect that?"
- 03:22 Obviously, sin makes its entrance into the stage of the
- 03:24 drama in early Genesis.
- 03:26 What's the fix?
- 03:28 People will ask today, "What's the fix?
- 03:29 We have problems in government. We need a new president.
- 03:32 We need a new judge."
- 03:33 And, look, we do need new presidents and new judges.
- 03:36 You know, as we make our journey through life, some are better
- 03:38 than others, but the real problem isn't gonna
- 03:40 be solved politically.
- 03:41 It's inherent.
- 03:42 It's in the human condition, and sin is at the root of it.
- 03:45 Salvation is at the solution of it, and the coming of Jesus is
- 03:49 the ultimate fix.
- 03:51 Now, if you look in biblical literature, we run upon sin.
- 03:54 Once upon a time, Adam and Chavvah, they were in Eden with
- 03:58 the Lord, and they were present with him, again, just to speak
- 04:03 of the word "presence."
- 04:04 The problem is, of course, they were cast out of his presence.
- 04:08 And, you know, I learned from people, when we were on the set
- 04:13 doing a series sometime back, David and Kirsten Hart, my
- 04:15 cohosts, they're worship leaders, you know, and they were
- 04:18 underscoring the whole idea of the attraction to praise and
- 04:23 worship is to enter into his presence.
- 04:26 There's an emotive element.
- 04:30 It affects the feelings.
- 04:32 Nothing problematic with that, that sense of closeness.
- 04:36 Well, if you look at the story of how God wants to bring people
- 04:40 close, we note in early Genesis people were pushed far away.
- 04:45 And we've examined in the series that God set up a mechanism to
- 04:49 bring people back through the Mishkan, the portable worship
- 04:54 center, through the hekal, the temple, the Beit ha-Mikdash, the
- 04:57 Holy House.
- 04:58 There was a mechanism where people would come and bring a
- 05:01 sacrifice, and there, they would meet a priest who would
- 05:04 officiate on their behalf.
- 05:06 Readers come upon that in the older testament.
- 05:09 In the newer testament, they come upon Jesus, who, in effect,
- 05:11 is noted explicitly as our High Priest and our sacrifice, both;
- 05:18 so you have the priesthood concept that is very well
- 05:23 represented in the newer testament as in the older
- 05:26 testament, beginning and end.
- 05:28 In early Genesis, by the way, there's sin.
- 05:30 In Exodus, there's the manufacture of a tabernacle.
- 05:33 In Leviticus, there's instructions for a priesthood,
- 05:36 et cetera.
- 05:38 If you look not just at the older testament, but you
- 05:40 fast-forward into the new, the whole idea of a temple comes
- 05:45 back to life.
- 05:46 It's predicted in Ezekiel that, in conjunction with the end-time
- 05:51 events, a temple has been--is going to be rebuilt, and
- 05:55 sacrifices are going to be reinstituted, arguably symbolic,
- 06:01 that is, symbolic of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
- 06:05 ♪♪♪
- 06:10 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Well, when you look in biblical literature,
- 06:12 you find this whole idea of a temple being rebuilt, and it's
- 06:18 part of end-times experience, and because we're in a
- 06:22 reconstituted nation state of Israel with interest in
- 06:26 rebuilding the temple with the ashes of the red heifer and
- 06:29 other things that are part of instituting a service in the
- 06:34 temple with the manufacturer of the paraphernalia that goes
- 06:37 along with it, we're living in interesting times, prophetic
- 06:40 times, and God is indeed at work in the world.
- 06:43 He's brought Israel back to life, and I hope, as you explore
- 06:48 the Bible with me and the main person in the Bible, Jesus
- 06:52 himself, I hope inasmuch as you've discovered that God
- 06:55 brought Israel back to life, you'll discover he brings you
- 06:57 back to life as well.
- 06:59 More to come as we consider "Dateline Jerusalem" and look at
- 07:02 good news here in Israel that has prophetic implications.
- 07:08 Bearded Bible Brother: As we've already documented in this
- 07:11 series, plans are presently being made for a third temple in
- 07:14 Yerushalayim.
- 07:15 Priests had been readied.
- 07:17 The golden menorah as well as other temple vessels are
- 07:19 prepared.
- 07:21 And the subject of the ashes of a red heifer has captivated the
- 07:24 thoughts of believers around the world who are in tune
- 07:26 with Bible prophecy.
- 07:28 Isaac Mamo is among those who are preparing for the ceremony
- 07:31 wherein the ashes of a red heifer will be gathered at this
- 07:35 site on the Mount of Olives.
- 07:38 Isaac Mamo: There is two options that God will give us
- 07:42 the temple.
- 07:44 One way, it's our way that we had to make the ceremony of the
- 07:46 red heifer.
- 07:48 We had to start to find the solution with the Islamic people
- 07:50 how to get the license to build the temple, and then we have to
- 07:54 find worker and then architect, and it will take 20 years, only
- 07:57 the architect, because, you know, the fire department will
- 08:00 not give a license and then the--it will take time, but it
- 08:04 will be happened--and the second option that we believe
- 08:08 it's possible that God actually bring the temple from the sky,
- 08:12 down and so that heaven one day.
- 08:16 You know, we are standing in Mount of Olive, and the prophet
- 08:20 Ezekiel say that "the two leg of God will stand on Mount of
- 08:26 Olive, and then the Mount of Olive will separate," and the
- 08:31 water came from the Gihon, and it's kind of a miracle.
- 08:37 So, yeah, this can be a kind of a miracle.
- 08:40 It can be a way that we will do it, and this can be a miracle.
- 08:45 We don't know.
- 08:47 When it's light, it's very easy to say thank you.
- 08:52 When it's dark, then you have to find you're a believer.
- 08:59 This is your test.
- 09:01 Your test is in the hard time, not in the good time.
- 09:04 In the good time, it's very easy to be a believer.
- 09:06 "Oh, thank God, thank God.
- 09:07 Thank You, God. Thank you, God.
- 09:10 At the moment that you have problems, that you have dark,
- 09:11 then let's see you, and I believe that we don't have to
- 09:15 wait to see the dark to believe.
- 09:18 I believe also in the morning.
- 09:21 And we don't know there will be a third war.
- 09:26 A third war.
- 09:28 It will be Russia, Ukraine, China.
- 09:32 I don't know what going to be happen--Iran?
- 09:34 I don't know.
- 09:36 We are believer.
- 09:38 We believe that God promised our--this land.
- 09:41 We believe that God decide to redemption his land back and his
- 09:46 land to be redemption.
- 09:51 And, again, you can close your eyes and say, "No,
- 09:54 it's only coincidence."
- 09:56 And you can open your eyes and see the Messiah.
- 09:59 He's here.
- 10:01 Kirsten: Isaac mentioned many times the word "redemption," and
- 10:05 it sounded, to me, like their redemption, their Savior, is
- 10:10 already here?
- 10:13 Caleb Colson: Well, they believe the Messiah is here today.
- 10:15 He's a man that hasn't been identified 'cause he hasn't
- 10:17 started building that temple yet.
- 10:19 That's one of their options they're waiting for.
- 10:21 We know, guys, redemption has already come.
- 10:24 His name is Yeshua, and he came to save us from the
- 10:27 brink of hell.
- 10:29 A temple is not gonna redeem us.
- 10:30 A red heifer is not gonna redeem us.
- 10:32 Purification can only come by the spotless blood of Yeshua.
- 10:36 Joshua: All of those different tools were only used
- 10:39 to get us back into the place that we were in the garden, God
- 10:43 communing with Adam.
- 10:45 Sin separated us from God.
- 10:47 The moment that sin happened, God could not commune with man
- 10:50 in that same way, so he's used these different tools throughout
- 10:53 time to bring us in a position to where we could commune with
- 10:57 him again.
- 10:59 But our sin is what nailed Yeshua to the cross, and our sin
- 11:02 is what he paid the price for.
- 11:05 We have to get that sin out of our lives so that we could
- 11:09 commune again with him the way he wants to--that redemption
- 11:11 price that he paid for us.
- 11:12 Caleb: Yeah, and you guys know Romans 10:9, "If you
- 11:15 confess with your mouth that 'Yeshua is Lord' and if you
- 11:18 believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you,
- 11:21 too, can be saved."
- 11:24 That's the message we need to be preaching to the Jewish people.
- 11:26 They're desperate. They want redemption.
- 11:28 Kirsten: And the salvation is not coming through the temple.
- 11:30 Caleb: It's not coming through the temple anymore.
- 11:31 Kirsten: The salvation is coming through the one who will
- 11:32 ultimately sit on that throne on the fourth temple, correct?
- 11:37 Caleb: The fourth temple. That's right.
- 11:40 That will be the millennial temple because Ezekiel 40:47
- 11:42 describes a square mile of the temple complex, the biggest
- 11:46 temple known to man.
- 11:48 It cannot fit on the current Mount Moriah.
- 11:50 Isaiah 2:2 has to happen first, where that mountain is enlarged.
- 11:54 It becomes the highest of all mountains, and only Messiah can
- 11:57 do that miraculously, so this next temple to come is the third
- 12:00 temple, a tribulation temple, and we know what happens in the
- 12:03 middle of the seven years: bad things.
- 12:06 David: So good, that's good. Guys, thank you.
- 12:10 Right now, we take you to Dr. Seif's teaching.
- 12:11 The Mount of Olives. Let's go there now.
- 12:14 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Journalists use the term "dateline" to affix
- 12:20 a place and a time to a story.
- 12:23 So you can look at print media.
- 12:26 It'll say "New York City" and give a date to it.
- 12:28 It's the date line.
- 12:31 We'll talk about a time and a place.
- 12:33 This certainly is the place, Jerusalem, the "Eternal City,"
- 12:36 and indeed, today, this is the time, special things happening,
- 12:43 to be sure.
- 12:45 And this series that we did explore, the miracle in the
- 12:51 desert, the emergence of the nation state of Israel and, in
- 12:54 conjunction with that, the emergence of temple worship at
- 13:00 the ragged edge of history, Jews have been without a Beit
- 13:04 ha-Mikdash, without a temple complex, for 2,000 years since
- 13:08 its destruction, which Jesus prophesied.
- 13:12 But Jews envision a coming temple and, with it, God's
- 13:19 presence returning in a special way.
- 13:21 We have explored with you issues associated with that in this
- 13:26 "Dateline" series.
- 13:29 Well, it's a modern series, to be sure, but we're not the first
- 13:33 one to tell the story.
- 13:35 I think of Ezekiel, who, in so many ways, has been my go-to
- 13:38 source here.
- 13:40 He says in chapter 43, verse 4, to use his tongue, he says--
- 13:43 [speaking in Hebrew]
- 13:49 and the glory of the Lord came to the house."
- 13:53 Ezekiel predicted that the nation would be reconstituted as
- 13:58 a state, that the temple would be rebuilt within the state, and
- 14:02 God's glory would come to the place, "kavod."
- 14:08 It's a Hebrew word for "weight," "his presence."
- 14:10 Now, people that visit Israel, they feel the presence in so
- 14:14 many ways.
- 14:15 There's an allure.
- 14:17 That's why pilgrims have been coming for millennia, and it's
- 14:20 escalated, by the way, with the modern nation state.
- 14:22 And, in fact, it's the pilgrimage spirit that brings
- 14:25 you to me.
- 14:26 That's why you watch the program "Our Jewish Roots."
- 14:28 If you can't get to Israel, you still wanna get Israel to you.
- 14:31 There's just something about looking at the good news through
- 14:33 the eyes of the Jews.
- 14:35 Well, I wanna pick up here some more on Ezekiel, but I wanna
- 14:39 remind you of something that I've given voice to before.
- 14:43 Here, on the Mount of Olives, there's a cemetery where
- 14:46 hundreds and thousands of Jews are buried, and they count
- 14:49 themselves fortunate to be able to rest here because they're
- 14:53 resting here in anticipation of what, in the Jewish world,
- 14:56 "t'chiyat hameitim," the "resurrection to life," the
- 14:59 "resurrection of the dead."
- 15:01 They're looking forward to the world to come, and they're
- 15:03 expecting something special to happen in Jerusalem at the
- 15:06 ragged edge of time, and their resurrection will accompany--be
- 15:10 part of that special--the greatest show on earth.
- 15:14 Well, could it be that we're experiencing some precursors to
- 15:18 that final, great experience?
- 15:22 It's long predicted in chapter 43, verse 7--
- 15:26 [speaking in Hebrew] and he said to me, "Ben -adam--"
- 15:30 Son of Man-- "Son of Man" is a term that's used in the Bible--
- 15:34 [speaking in Hebrew] this is the place of my throne."
- 15:41 And so he envisions a rebuilt temple complex in Jerusalem.
- 15:47 Behind me is going to be that place, somewhere, sometime, soon
- 15:53 coming, and he says, "I will dwell in the midst of the
- 15:56 children of Israel."
- 15:59 [speaking in Hebrew] forever.
- 16:05 Again, he sees a kind of permanence here which is why,
- 16:10 when you read Ezekiel--yet you have to look over the horizon
- 16:12 into the future.
- 16:14 People say, "Well, you know, the temple was rebuilt yesteryear.
- 16:18 It's all fulfilled prophecy.
- 16:19 The Jews came back from captivity.
- 16:21 This stuff belongs to yesteryear, not to today."
- 16:24 But over and again here in the text, this prophet says,
- 16:28 "Know that God's gonna rebuild something.
- 16:31 The temple's gonna be rebuilt here,
- 16:34 and it's gonna last here forever."
- 16:37 But we've seen temples come and go here, but none of them that
- 16:40 have lasted forever.
- 16:42 I'm fumbling with pages a little bit.
- 16:45 I want you to go to the back of the book, the last thing that's
- 16:47 prophesied here.
- 16:49 The last statement in Ezekiel is so very profound.
- 16:53 [speaking in Hebrew]
- 16:57 And the name of the city will be called The Lord is here."
- 17:05 People know the Lord has been here.
- 17:09 Jesus came to Jerusalem and died here.
- 17:12 Even Jewish people that don't believe in Jesus know the city
- 17:16 is special but for other reasons.
- 17:19 There's indeed something special about this city that's gonna be
- 17:23 called "The Lord is there," "The Lord is in this place."
- 17:27 That's particularly true when you look at history at the
- 17:32 ragged edge of time.
- 17:34 God is up to something special, and in this series,
- 17:38 we've explored aspects of that as we've looked at
- 17:42 "Dateline Jerusalem."
- 17:48 Bearded Bible Brother: There's little question that the
- 17:50 Lord God, Elohim, chose Yerushalayim as the place where
- 17:54 his name would be honored.
- 17:56 It all started with Abraham's ascent of Mount Moriah to
- 18:01 sacrifice his son Isaac.
- 18:03 In time, two temples would grace what would become known as the
- 18:07 Temple Mount with plans under way for a third temple.
- 18:10 As we've seen in this series, God's sovereign plan and
- 18:14 blueprint for the temple had already been established
- 18:16 in the tabernacle.
- 18:18 We took our cameras to a wilderness area in Southern
- 18:21 Israel to film a full-sized replica of the tabernacle to
- 18:24 learn more about how God's salvation plan was wonderfully
- 18:29 displayed long before the temple.
- 18:33 Ariel Simms, the spokesman for the tabernacle, has provided
- 18:37 wonderful insights and shares with us now his own personal
- 18:40 encounter with the Lord's plan of salvation.
- 18:44 Ariel Simms: My mom's Israeli.
- 18:47 She was born and raised in these woods up north, not too
- 18:50 far from Haifa.
- 18:51 She came to faith when she was 18.
- 18:56 On her 18th birthday she was born again, and that's a whole
- 18:58 nother story, amazing story.
- 19:00 My dad is American.
- 19:02 He's from Chicago.
- 19:03 He grew up Catholic though not so religious, and he came to
- 19:08 faith when he was 16 or 17, which is also another
- 19:11 fascinating story in and of itself.
- 19:14 When my mom finished her military service, her mandatory
- 19:18 IDF service in Israel, she finished that; she went to a
- 19:22 Bible college in Chicago, called Moody, Moody Bible Institute.
- 19:26 That's where my parents met and got married, and became--
- 19:32 I was born in Haifa, and I grew up in California, and we came
- 19:37 back to Israel back in 2006.
- 19:40 So I grew up most of my life in faith.
- 19:42 My parents raised me in the Messianic faith as a believer,
- 19:47 but I personally wasn't saved until I was 14.
- 19:51 It was only when I was 14 that I realized that I need to make the
- 19:54 decision for myself and not just because it's the way my parents
- 19:57 raised me.
- 19:59 Yes, that it's the parents' responsibility to raise their
- 20:02 children in faith, but each person needs to make that
- 20:05 decision for themselves to follow Yeshua or not.
- 20:09 David: Such a great testimony from Ariel.
- 20:12 Something that we all need to do in our lives is to have that
- 20:15 personal connection with Yeshua, yes?
- 20:18 Caleb: Yes, it is.
- 20:19 Kirsten: Even though he grew up in a Jewish home, his parents
- 20:22 were believers.
- 20:24 You guys, the same story, right?
- 20:26 Joshua: It's such a cool story.
- 20:28 We don't often meet people with that same story that we are
- 20:30 Jewish, but we were born in a family that raised us, already
- 20:34 believing Yeshua was the Messiah,
- 20:36 and it makes it so much easier.
- 20:38 But, yeah, I don't know if I've ever heard the story outside of
- 20:41 our family.
- 20:42 Kirsten: But he still had a decision to make.
- 20:43 Joshua: Yes.
- 20:45 Kirsten: He mentioned that like we all did, yeah.
- 20:46 Caleb: He had to make it personally for himself, but he
- 20:48 is a miracle, and it shows that we're coming closer to the end,
- 20:50 and we know, at the last day of the tribulation, the whole house
- 20:52 of Israel will be saved, but there's still that urgency that
- 20:54 we need to push for the gospel to go to the Jews now.
- 20:57 It really is.
- 20:59 Kirsten: I love when he was talking about that fourth
- 21:01 temple, that final temple, that ginormous complex that--ooh,
- 21:07 gives me goose bumps--the glory is returning to this land, and
- 21:11 his name is--
- 21:13 both: Yeshua.
- 21:15 Kirsten: Yes, it's good.
- 21:16 Joshua: When you read Isaiah 2:3-4, it says, "The law will go
- 21:19 out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Yerushalayim.
- 21:23 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes
- 21:25 for many peoples.
- 21:26 They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into
- 21:29 pruning hooks.
- 21:31 Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they
- 21:33 train for war anymore."
- 21:35 Caleb: Wow. Kirsten: Hallelujah.
- 21:38 Caleb: That's what we have to look forward to.
- 21:40 Kirsten: And both of our kids are--son, oldest son, and our
- 21:43 daughter-in-law--she's our kid--were in the Army.
- 21:45 And when your kids are in the Army fighting, you're always
- 21:48 praying for their peace and to think that there is a time on
- 21:51 this planet coming where they won't have to train anymore, and
- 21:53 they won't have to go out and fight.
- 21:55 That's incredible.
- 21:58 Caleb: You know, guys, I had the opportunity to speak to
- 22:00 Mark Hitchcock, author, expert on Bible prophecy, and I asked
- 22:03 him, "What does the future hold for us as believers?"
- 22:05 You're gonna enjoy this.
- 22:09 Caleb: In the end, prophetically, everything comes
- 22:11 full circle when Messiah rules and reigns from Jerusalem for a
- 22:14 thousand years.
- 22:16 The question is "What do we as believers do during that
- 22:18 millennium reign?
- 22:20 What position do we hold in his kingdom?"
- 22:22 Mark Hitchcock: Yeah, well, there'll be people living
- 22:25 on the earth during the kingdom age in their human bodies,
- 22:27 people that lived through the tribulation period both
- 22:29 Jews and Gentiles.
- 22:30 They'll be living and having children and marrying and living
- 22:34 in houses.
- 22:36 But we'll be there, the church-age believers.
- 22:37 We'll be there in our glorified bodies--
- 22:39 'Cause we will have been raptured and then
- 22:41 transformed, and those who've died have been resurrected, so
- 22:44 we'll be there in our glorified bodies, and the Bible doesn't
- 22:46 tell us everything we're gonna be doing during that period of
- 22:49 time, but it does tell us, I believe, we're gonna rule and
- 22:51 reign with Christ, which that's interesting 'cause you go all
- 22:54 the way back to the book of Genesis, and God created the man
- 22:57 and the woman to take dominion over the earth.
- 22:59 Caleb: That's right. Mark: That's why he made us.
- 23:01 And we're gonna be fulfilling, then, that purpose that God has
- 23:03 for us, and Jesus says, in Luke 19, he says, you know, "Some
- 23:07 will rule over five cities.
- 23:09 Some will rule over ten cities."
- 23:10 So we're gonna have places of administrative authority in this
- 23:14 kingdom of the Messiah.
- 23:15 Yeah, the Bible tells us, too, in 1 Corinthians 6:2, we're
- 23:18 gonna judge the angels.
- 23:19 Now, it doesn't mean we're gonna judge 'em, I don't think, in the
- 23:22 sense that they've done bad things, but, just, we're gonna
- 23:24 rule over them.
- 23:25 And I always like what a friend of mine said years ago.
- 23:28 He said, "This is training time for reigning time."
- 23:31 So we're training now to reign in the future, and I think
- 23:34 that's gonna be part of the rewards that we receive that
- 23:36 "he who's faithful in a little is gonna get much."
- 23:39 And, you know, everybody's not gonna be the same in eternity as
- 23:42 far as rewards go.
- 23:44 I heard a guy, years ago, say that everybody's cup will be
- 23:47 full, but some people's cups will be larger than others.
- 23:50 And, to me, that's a good way to put it.
- 23:51 You know, no one's gonna feel like they've been cheated, but
- 23:54 what greater capacity to serve the Lord and to reign with him
- 23:57 and rule with him?
- 23:59 So I think that's the main thing that we'll be doing, and, again,
- 24:02 how that exactly looks during that time, I don't know, but
- 24:04 it's gonna be far beyond anything we can imagine.
- 24:08 Caleb: I've really enjoyed Mark's insight in this series.
- 24:11 And in his book, "The End," he goes through the whole gamut of
- 24:15 Bible prophecy, but one specific area that he really focuses on
- 24:19 in this book is the Rapture.
- 24:21 He uses Scripture to back it up.
- 24:23 He gives you the different theories of post-, mid-, and
- 24:25 pre-Rapture, and he says, "Decide for yourself.
- 24:27 Use the Scriptures.
- 24:29 See what the Holy Spirit says to you."
- 24:31 He tells you what he believes.
- 24:32 But it's a great resource, and we're giving it to you, when you
- 24:35 give an offering to us, just to say that we love you and to
- 24:38 share Yeshua's love with others.
- 24:40 Kirsten: Just to let you know, the book costs the
- 24:42 ministry money to buy.
- 24:44 We are paying Mark back for the book.
- 24:47 We are shipping it to you.
- 24:49 I don't know if you've purchased books recently on Amazon or
- 24:52 wherever else--wherever you guy your books.
- 24:54 They're expensive.
- 24:56 And so that our ministry doesn't go in the hole from sending out
- 25:00 thousands of these books for free, we appreciate your
- 25:02 generous donation.
- 25:05 Your donation goes to the book.
- 25:06 It also goes to this ministry.
- 25:08 And I've gotta mention, your interview that you just had with
- 25:12 Mark, he talked about our jobs and our roles in
- 25:15 that millennial kingdom.
- 25:17 We're not just playing harps?
- 25:18 Caleb: No.
- 25:20 Kirsten: We have to do stuff? Hah-ha, hah-ha.
- 25:22 Caleb: This is the boot camp right now to prepare us for the
- 25:24 real world, the real eternity.
- 25:25 And Abraham understood that.
- 25:27 In Scripture it talks about--in Hebrews 11:8-10, he understood
- 25:33 that it wasn't just about this strange foreign land that he was
- 25:36 going to.
- 25:38 Scripture says, "By faith Abraham obeyed when he was
- 25:41 called to go out to a place where he was to receive
- 25:44 as an inheritance.
- 25:45 He went out, not knowing where he was going.
- 25:47 By faith he migrated to the land of promise as if it were
- 25:49 foreign, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs to
- 25:51 the same promise.
- 25:54 For he was waiting for a city that has foundations, whose
- 25:56 architect and builder is God."
- 25:59 He saw the New Jerusalem coming.
- 26:01 He understood that there was a better placing coming than the
- 26:04 earthly place that we have now.
- 26:05 Joshua: We can get caught up in the now, which is only
- 26:07 counterfeit.
- 26:08 Why would we wanna focus on the counterfeit when what is real,
- 26:12 what God has for us, is so much better?
- 26:14 Do you wanna have a game-winning ball signed by Michael Jordan,
- 26:18 or do you want that 3D printer to have it signed by AI?
- 26:22 You want what's real, obviously.
- 26:24 If you show up at the cash register, do you wanna pay with
- 26:27 a counterfeit bill and see what happens, or do you wanna pay
- 26:29 with real money?
- 26:30 We need to have our focus on the real-deal article.
- 26:34 That time in eternity that we're gonna spend with the Father,
- 26:37 that's where this is all going.
- 26:40 Kirsten: That ruling over, we will all--okay,
- 26:43 we were watching this.
- 26:45 I'm like, "We rule over the angels?
- 26:48 Like, who are we that we would do that?
- 26:49 That's crazy."
- 26:51 Caleb: We are made like Messiah.
- 26:52 That's why we're special, right in his image.
- 26:55 Kirsten: Lot to look forward to.
- 26:56 David: Thank you for your insight today, guys.
- 26:57 It's been great.
- 26:59 There's more to come, but guess what?
- 27:00 It's time to go.
- 27:03 Joshua: So as we love to say-- [speaking in Hebrew]
- 27:06 David: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
